| We are pleased to join
other radio stations, television stations, and cable outlets in
Middle Georgia who have banded together to help raise money for
those devastated by the Mother's
Day tornados. In all, 102 homes were destroyed and
nearly 1,500 more were damaged in the counties of Bibb, Twiggs,
Crawford, and Monroe. Homes in Baldwin and Washington
counties were also damaged by severe weather later in the month. A
fund has been established and will be administered by the
Community Foundation and the United Way to assist residents with
"long term" help. |
